I’m be singing Udon’s 320 page Street Fighter Tribute art book which I have a piece in and also did the layout and graphic design for! I’ll also have very slick 11×17 prints of my SF Tribute piece for sale for $20. Check it out:

Ideally I’d like everyone to come by the Capcom booth signing (so at least some people show up!), but if you raly can’t make it, my prints will also be on sale at the UDON booth (#5368) for the whole show. I may also try to bring sme Lil Formers: The Movie prints to the Capcom signing… so drop by if you’d like one!

Well, about a month into the new Lil Formers and things are going great! Traffic’s definitely up, so hello to all you new readers. Still a few folks complaining about the lack of Transformers, but if you’re complaining at least it means you’re still reading I’ll still do occassional TF strips if something good comes to mind like the recent guest star by Grimlock. Probably once every few months or so, we shall see…

Speaking of TF’s, I had a great time last weekend at TFcon here in Toronto.  Did a bunch of sketches (16 in one day! That’s a lot for me!) Let’s see if I can remember em all… Megatron(x2), Grimlock, Thundercracker, Optimus(x2), Hound (x2), Bumblebee, Prime, Ratchet(x2), Spectro, Prowl, Hot Rod, Rodimus. Also sold plenty of prints. Overall I did twice as much business as last year…awesome.

Will definitely be back next year, and am thinking about Botcon too. Depends I guess where they hold it next year.

Lil Formers has shown up in official print form again, this time in IDW’s Wheelie Spotlight, released to comic stores today! Chris Ryall liked a few strips well enough that he asked if he could reprint them in the IDW comics.

You’ve probably seen the strips before if you’re a regular Lil Formers reader, but if you’d like to see more Lil Formers in official forms pick up the Wheelie Spotlight and let IDW Publishing know how much you like the LFs ;)

*EDIT: Hah, it’s just been pointed out to me that Lil Formers is actually referenced in the story! On the very first page, we see someone holding a reverse holographic list of potential Autobots for a mission, with Wheelie at the bottom behind Roller - just like in my Wheelie strip! Thanks Simon or Klaus, whoever put that in!

Hey gang, welcome to the new site! After 100 weekly strips, I thought it’d be a good time to give the strip an overhaul. I still haven’t gotten things exactly as I want, but it’s getting there.

Using Comicpress(a great wordpress theme designed especially for webcomics), I’ve spiffed things up with some cool new features, such as:

- RSS feed (you guys have been asking for this!)
- Comments for each comic and blog post (now you can easily tell me what you think!)
- Search Function (working again!)

I’ll also be updating soon with new standees and new wallpapers which everyone’s been asking for. I’m also thinking about a fan section to show some of the great fan art and gifts I get!

Now that I’ve wowed you all with the fancy new diggs, the surprise news! Hopefully it’s not bad news heh… If you haven’t figured it out from strip #100, Lil Formers will no longer be ONLY Transformers-centric. To keep things fresh I’m expanding the scope to cover any type of geeky toy, cartoons, comic, sci-fi, anime, video game, etc property. After 100 TF strips, I’ve had my fill of the robots in disguise for a bit. Doesn’t mean I will never do TF strips, but it will no longer be the sole driving force behind Lil Formers. For simplicity sake though, the strip will continue to be called ‘Lil Formers’ until the end of time. Hope everyone enjoys and supports the new direction, but if you NEED your TF fix, I’m still doing a page of TF gags in every issue of the Official Transformers Club Magazine.

So yeah, let me know what you think of the new site, new direction, new functions and stay tuned for future Lil Formers news!
