Bravoman Webtoon Episode 1!

The first Bravoman webtoon episode is up, just in time for Bravoman’s 25th anniversary!

 

Featuring the voices of
Rob Paulsen (Animaniacs, TMNT) as Bravoman and Alpha Man
Dee Bradley Baker (American Dad, Phineas & Ferb) as Dr.Bomb, Pit Robot, and the Narrator

Next episode you’ll hear Romi Dames (Winx Club) as Waya Hime!

The first episode was pretty much co-written by Jim Zub (Skullkickers) and myself. Future episodes were more singularly written by either of us.

Also of course props to my Bravoman comic collaborator Dax Gordine for the character designs, and for pestering the groovy animators at Copernicus Studios (Teen Titans Go!) to stay on track ;)

WONDERCON Anaheim!

Howdy folks! I’ll be at Wondercon in Anaheim all weekend (March 29-31) promoting the Bravoman webcomic and upcoming webtoon!

I’m doing  some signings each day(Shiftylook Booth #845), and also the Bravoman Animation panel on Saturday from 11:00am to 12:pm. Also ont eh panel will be Bravoman voice actors Rob Paulsen, Dee Bradley Baker, and Romi Dames (plus some more Bravoman crew!)

Bravoman Webtoon teaser

So here’s a teaser of something I’ve been working on on the side – the Bravoman Webtoon!

Based on the Bravoman webcomic I write with Dax Gordine and Josh Perez on art. I wrote the 6-episode animated series with fellow UDONer Jim Zub (Skullkickers).

The show is starting to shape up. In this clip you’ll hear Rob Paulsen (Animaniacs, Pinky & the Brain, TMNT) as the voice of both Bravoman and Alpha. The full episodes will also features the voices of Dee Bradley Baker (America Dad, Phineas and Ferb) and Romi Dames (Winx Club).

NEWS: Wagan Land!

As most of you know, Dax Gordine, Josh Perez and myself have been working on Bandai-Namco’s Bravoman webcomic for a while now.

Today, another video web comic I’m writing launches: WAGAN LAND!

Featuring the stellar artwork of Rob Porter, AKA Robaato! Wagan Land is based on a long-running Japan-exclusive platformer. Both the game’s hero is a super-deformed robot dinosaur named Wagan, who battles bosses by completing weird puzzles (often Japanese language puzzles, probably why it was never localized). My overall theme is “It sucks to be Wagan!”, so you can gues how that plays out ;) Robaato and I are having lots of fun with it.
