Phew, a day late this week due to the San Diego Comic-con. I had a GREAT time! met tons of cool people and got plenty of projects rolling. Huzzah!
I also had some hosting problems this week..mainly the fact that Lil Formers is TOO popular! I used up all my bandwidth, and I'm already using my host's largest package...looking into some other options. For now my good pals at UDON are letting me host the site with them for a few days :)
One more note, to the two fellows who I promised I'd mail convention sketches to, I need you to send me your mailing addresses. You knwo who you are ;) Either use the e-mail address I gave you or the contact form here on the website. Thanks guys!

To anyone headed to the San Diego Comic Comic-con, I'll be there all this week as part of the UDON crew! So come on out and say hello at the UDON booth (#4249). We've got the new 2007 UDON Sketchbook (featureing a TON of awesome artsits and even some Lil Formers!) plus our all-new Art of Capcom 300+ page art book! To all you guys who like avatars...I just put up 10 new ones in the goodies section! You can now find avatars of Rumble, Frenzy, Sparklug, Spike, Snarl, and Swindle. Plus movie versions of Optimus, Jazz, Megatron and Brawl.
Also getting some new standees ready...let me know who you want to see next!
Aaand I just received in the mail the new issue of the TF Collector's Club Magazine, which features a full page of Lil Formers goodness. Whee!

Woot! Had a GREAT time at Transformerscon this weekend! This week's strip is actualy one I created for the con which they ran in their program. The program version ran in black & white, so I thought I'd let everyone see it in colour.
Back to the con itself though, tons of fun! I met a lot of cool fans, sold plenty of prints and did a bunch of commissions. I'll definitely be back next year. :)

Wow!!!! Well guys, as it turns out I got WAY more entries than I expect...over 300 of you sent in your suggestions for the caption contest. I'm going to need the weekend to sift through all these e-mails and choose a winner, so come back on Monday to see the winning entry posted up!

So, WHY no dialog?? Basically, I had an incredibly busy week and didn't have time to do a new strip... so I pasted together this silly Megs/Soundwave image with the hopes that one of you clever transfans will finish it for me. ;) Think of it like a mini contest! Just e-mail your original, funny dialog for this strip to me at matt@mattmoylan.com, and I'll pick a winner on Thursday, April 5 at 11pm EST.
The text of the winning gag will be added this blank strip and then added to the Lil Formers archive (with a special note about the strip's collaborative nature of course!) And as added incentive, I'll also give the winner a free Lil Formers style drawing of their favourite bot. WOW! (And by 'drawing' I mean a high resolution jpeg, as I do all my art digitally in Photoshop these days).
So yeah, go nuts! You guys better be funny!

Yo guys,
If you haven't checked the goodies section in while...get your butt over there! I'm now up to 54 different avatars to choose from (featuring everyone from Cliffjumper to Galvatron to Cy-Kill), 4 sets of mini-standees (there's even a Michael Bay micro standee you can use to flick elastics at), and 8 groovy wallpapers!
Also, check this: an awesome piece of fan art from my grade school cousin Logan! This is his own Lil Formers type character he created, who I've aptly named "Logatron". Check out his drawing on the left and my rendition of him on the right :)
Plenty more cooking with Lil Formers behind the scenes...I'll let you know more soon! Huzzah!

Hey again all!
Got a few things to let everyone know. First of all I've decided Monday will be my regular update day, so check back here on mondays for news strips and new goodies. I might add strips more often on occasion, but I'll try to get a new one up every Monday at least.
Next, I've got some new STANDEES! Head on over to the goodies section to check out the new set featuring Optimus Prime, Alpha Trion, Wheelie, and Ratchet.
Finally, head on over to the TFW2005 forums to see the latest exclusive strip I've done for the gang over there, featuring their mascot character -- Boombox!

Welcome to the launch of LilFormers.com, official home of my Lil Formers strips! Eventually I'll turn this into a real newspost section with an archive of past messages, ability to comment and all that jazz. For now though I'll just fake it.
Just want to say thanks to all the folks who support Lil Formers, especially:
-TFW2005.COM (who mirror all the Lil Formers strips on their site and give me some sweet front page coverage)
-Pete Sinclair and the folks at the Official Transformers Collectors Club (the first people to put Lil Formers in print!)
-All those Transfans on the various TF message boards who always have such great praise. Thanks guys!
So yeah, have a look around, feel free to e-mail me any suggestions for site improvements. Also check out the Lil Formers Standees I've put up. People have been asking for a downloadable/printable version of these fellas for a while! I've got 8 characters up for now, with more to come in the future.
