    Just a guess: The kid in the Pac-Man shirt is likely a nod to Mike Krahulik from Penny Arcade, a.k.a. Gabe. The poor kid getting hugged, Jerry, is likely a nod to Jerry Holkins, a.k.a. (you guessed it) Tycho.
