funny, when I first heard about the game it sounded semi-awesome.
I’m still slightly interested just not as much. Hopefully it’ll be better than that Marvel/EA match up.

actually I heard differently about the game, word on the street is that its dc going into the MK universe ie the capes are gonna get more violent and supes has always been effected by magic.

I don’t think it’ll be that bad. Kinda had to handicap Superman…but on the same token, seeing that most of MK is magic, and he has a severe magic weakness, it kinda makes sense.
As for Fatalities?? Considering how crappy the system was in Armeggedon, it’s not a big loss…

This Franchise will never be as successful as Marvel vs. Capcom. Although it’s the same Idea it’s full of Fail- Think of it as the Terrific Three in Comparison to the Fantastic Four.

I’m a huge DC fan, and a Superman fan since i was 3. This game is realy gona suck ass. You drew it to a pinpoint depiction of what the game is gonna be. Superman is invunerable. But to tone him down, just so they can make a game, is just stupid. I lovethedrawin man. i laughed my ass off, cuz this is exactly what the game will be like.

Guys, check the new video on IGN with narration from Ed Boon. This game is sounding really good.
- It has blood, fatalities, and Superman may not be invincible but he’s still pretty damn powerful
- The fighting system has actually been improved. Special moves are now incorporated into combos and you may be able to do freestyle combos a la Devil May Cry, where any move links into another one
There’s a few other cool things but I suggest you check out the video for yourself and make up your own mind. But don’t write this game off just because it’s called ‘Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe’, it may turn out to be an extremely good fighting game, and possibly the best MK ever.
Also, Batman and Joker have been confirmed. I really hope they have Dark Knight alternate costumes.

It turned out okay really. Most MK peeps = Blatantly Magical = Superman is vulnerable, which makes a lot of sense (Even without the power balance thing) and really any combat game with DC characters needs some excuse to randomly mix up power levels or else it’ll just get stupid. I mean Superman Vs Catwoman…. yeah, that’d work with standard DC power levels. Of course that has always been the problem with the DC world, they have insanely powerful characters mixed up with characters with no powers at all. Fine for comics, but makes no sense for a beat em up.
