Lil Formers #105: The Batpod
Just a sketch this week guys. I am actually on the road in Anaheim at the American Library Association’s annual conference promoting UDON, so I only have a small sketchbook with me for art. Sorry that I’m not as great by hand as my usual digital stuff .
If you’re wondering what the Batpod is, it’s the new vehicle for the Batman sequel, The Dark Knight. It’s sort of a weird bike type thing. here are some pics.

lol, nice one. I hated the new batmobile and also this one. So that strip brought an extra smile to my face.

Hahahaha, I could SO see that happen in a comedy spinoff!

“Sorry that I’m not as great by hand as my usual digital stuff.”
I thought that it looked quite good. Should do the hand drawn stuff more often. Mixes things up a bit. Good job.

Hahaha! That’s awesome - I had the exact same thought the first time I saw the Batpod.

I not only love Transformers, but I’m a huge Batman fan, so I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I can’t help feeling a little insulted. On the other hand, this is Hee-Haw-Larious!!! Overall, I think you should do more. Maybe one featuring Superman, or a DC/Marvel crossover? I’d love to see your version of a meeting between Batman and Spiderman (see ItsJustSomeRandomGuy on Youtube for suggestions). Keep up the good work!

It probably can store that many Mp3’s…I’d hate to see what Batman looks like AFTER he comes out from under that wheel!
July 2nd, 2008 at 3:22 am
i got my ipod 2 Christmases ago and I’ve got a bit of a Batman obsession so i named my iPod “Batpod” so this one is really funny to me… although my Batpod can hold way more than 5,000 mp3’s but it’s still funny never the less…

Well, that’s what happens when you wear long capes
July 16th, 2008 at 11:43 pm
Let’s see…
If the comic book Watchmen by Alan Moore and the Pixar movie “The Incredibles are of any use in designing a superhero costume whatsoever, then poor Batman should have fallen prey to this years ago.

July 24th, 2008 at 9:40 am
