I guess it’s different strokes for different folks, because I really am digging the new stuff exploring things past Transformers. I can understand why some Transfans would be upset, but I like the new stuff because I never know what’s going to pop up next.

He has so manny names …in Germany he is called Walter… so he seems perfect for undercover action …
I would like to see some of the name giving bots of this page again… not like in NOW but …it would be nice to see them again ^^
but i think the new kids on the blog…(excuse me this cheap joke - i had to ;-)) seem to become better and better every Monday…so keep on drawing them… cant wait wich franchise will be hit next time!!

The Transformers comics were great, but the new comics are as good as the old ones; the new stuff has the advantage of being less predictable (I didn’t expect a Ghostbusters or Waldo/Carmen Sandiego comic)

I do agree, the bots were great but expaming out gives so much that can be done. And crossing series leaves it totally unpredictable. Keep it up.

I love how you’ve widen the possibilities of the comics. With the TF comics, you knew that it would be making fun of something in the recent news. But with the new ones you can do anything you want while still giving us TFs occassionally.

For years I’ve seen a Waldo at Anime Central. He would appear in the background of pictures people took. I thought it was a good idea.

Stellar strip this week! Definitely my favorite non-robot strip so far. Man this is really taking me back to the day. I love the broader direction you’re taking, keep up the great work!

#1.) I love Transformers, grew up with them and GI Joe. I have laughed Myself silly at a lot of your strips when I happened upon your site.. so many fond memories dredged up, so much thanks for that!
#2.) I understand people miss the Trans. Comics, but you know what? Matt is a talented artist… he’s shown time and again he’s both creative and witty in each of his strips. Artists have to sprad their wings a bit, Matt certainly isn’t a “one trick pony” he does Transformers awesomely but, as people can see, he does justice to many other areas as well.
#3.) Matt clearly puts a lot of work and himself into these strips… keep that in mind when you cray out “bring back the bots” or “change your site name” Constructive critisism is great, but otherwise it seems like people are just trashing Matt’s hard work…
Great strip Matt, I’ve been enjoying these trips down memory lane! TMNT, Masters of the Universe, etc.. it’s great. Keep up the great work!

I don’t mind Matt’s diversifying. Keeps things fresh. Now all you disrepectful peoples, a moment of silence for Ms. Lynn Thigpen, who played the Chief in the Carmen Sandiego game shows and the revamped versions of the game …………………………………………………………………………………

Great job Matt! I’ve been a longtime lurker and although I miss the ‘bots dearly, I’m really enjoying this foray into other fandoms. You never know who’ll pop up next!!
I do hope that the ‘bots will make appearances again in the future though. News-permitting, of course.
