Learning a lot about Mega Man lately for work so, here’s a Mega-strip! With no actual Mega Man!
Oh, also it turns out, Mega Man characters are way fun to draw! Probably because they have the same general proportions as my own style heh… and hey, they’re robots!

Nice strip, really funny, loved the Zero. You know it’s funny how Bass was originally the prototype for Zero, who was suppose to be Sigma’s body but was stolen by Protoman’ who was originally Mega Man’s prototype and his brother, and decided to download his mind in it.

Should I be relieved that I didn’t follow a word of that, or worried that I even TRIED to follow it?

I wouldn’t be worried. I succeeded following it because we are used to long sentences in Spanish… but we are also used to punctuation now an then…

I think Protoman is the ultimate anti-hero since he is the first one from the classics 80s games, wich I played a looooot in my childhood. Great strip man!

Meh… one of those comics I know too much about the franchise to enjoy. I can see how people would see it like this, but each has their own characterization that makes it not funny if you know it all.
It all just got too chaotic for me to even continue following the storyline after Inafune and his successor in the X series began fighting over who was going to control the myth arc.
Then there was the whole hassle of Zero being the original design for X, but made a secondary character, but became a fan favorite…. *shrugs*

Heh, I liked seeing you draw Mega Man characters but it’s kind of innacurate. Proto Man is only seen fighting Mega Man in MM3, because Wily forced him to. In Mega Man 5, it’s a fake version of Proto Man. And every other time he’s pretty much just sparring with Mega Man. Zero was created to be evil, but in every game he has been a hero. Bass is an anti-hero only because he turned on Wily. He still wants to kill Mega Man.
Still, cool issue.

Lol, nice. You could always draw King, the guy who finally defeated Wily (RockMan Vs. Bass, released in Japan only, the ACTUAL MegaMan 9 game).
Just please, please, PLEASE don’t say that Rock (MegaMan) is the same as X (MegaMan X). It’s a huge misconception of the fandom which almost every MMX game proves wrong.

Oh btw, the GBA port of RockMan and Forte(originated for the Super Famicon) was released in America as MegaMan and Bass apparently so it’s no longer Japan only anymore.

megaman got really good in the megaman battle network series. (i know its not real megaman but I like the concept)
but it got weird in that.
protoman was good but more a rival like ash and gary from pokemon
zero well he was zero a complet6e twat but also the same as super form megaman
and bass. well bass was a supreme tool that thought he ruled it all (alot like shadow from sonic) but alas liek bass he also thinks he is a goody.

also there was roll his somtimes GF, sometimes sister sometimes merged form (ooh god what) sometimes nemis/ally (yes i have had 1 game where he has to kill her)
and rockman. also the name of megaman as it was sold in jap which is odd. this big muscle brute is a more rival than ally/nemisis but depending on sotry would be a brother, cousin, friend and merge with megaman.was so glad battle network explained the merging decently as it was odd in all other megamans

protoman? not protoman! there’ve been two fake protomans, break man and dark man, who were wily creations. and there was one time when protoman was a double agent who was actually a good guy. also zero is only a bad guy when bad guys rebuild him. the fool dies more times than the collected primes, it seems like.
