Lil Formers #170: Swine Flu
Actually this was not supposed to be the gag but, when I googled for ‘cartoon pig’ for ideas I got Pig-Pen. He was too perfect heh. The rest of the crew are Piglet, Porky Pig, Oolong, Porco Rosso, Pigma Dengar, and Peter Porker the Spectacular Spider-Ham.
PS: Yes I know swine flu is not the same thing as H1N1. But pigs are funny

November 2nd, 2009 at 4:37 pm
At least Pigma won’t be infested by Aparoids again. XD
November 2nd, 2009 at 4:41 pm
Yes, yes they are funny. And Rule of Funny trumps logic every day of the week. (twice on weekends).
November 2nd, 2009 at 4:49 pm
Should have added Kilowog too.
November 2nd, 2009 at 4:54 pm
what was the original gag?
November 2nd, 2009 at 5:50 pm
Why is Professor Oak the one putting them away?
November 2nd, 2009 at 6:00 pm
Kilowog isn’t a pig…And Spider-Ham looks just like he does in the comics!
November 2nd, 2009 at 6:03 pm
Yay, Spider-Ham reference!
I still want Marvel/Disney to team him with Darkwing Duck.
November 2nd, 2009 at 6:22 pm
@D-END:
Yeah, but he LOOKS like one, doesn’t he?
November 2nd, 2009 at 6:23 pm
@d-end: because he has to catch them all?
November 2nd, 2009 at 6:23 pm
I miss Razorbeast.
November 2nd, 2009 at 7:35 pm
hehe… spiderham
November 2nd, 2009 at 8:34 pm
Actually, there was one strip where Pigpen was all cleaned and pressed…and just standing there he acquired a dust cloud. He is an avatar of entropy.
November 2nd, 2009 at 9:10 pm
Pigs are hilarious, I agree.
At first I thought that Pigma Dengar was the Pig from Diddy Kong Racing, but I guess I’m the only person who remembers that game…
Funny strip, Spider-Ham is awesome
November 2nd, 2009 at 10:08 pm
@CABOSE
You were thinking the same thing, huh? Freaky. O.o
November 2nd, 2009 at 11:08 pm
Is that Oolong?
November 3rd, 2009 at 1:21 am
wait, swine flu and N1H1 aren’t the same? Did I miss a new report somewhere?
Otherwise a really funny strip.
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:13 am
What, no Gamorrean pig guards?
Other than that, that was awesome.
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:04 am
Poor piggies!
But Cornfed is still loose, he can save em’!
November 3rd, 2009 at 12:10 pm
Yay, Oolong! If he’d had any sense he’d have disguised himself long enough to get away.
Great comic again!
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:45 pm
H1N1 is actually a combo of Bird Flu, Swine Flu, and Normal flu. Nasty combo.
Hilarious comic. Here’s another one going around the net. Poor Piglet:

November 3rd, 2009 at 11:53 pm
Hey, wait a minute. You forgot the Moblins!
November 4th, 2009 at 11:45 am
You forgot Miss Piggy.
And great drawing on Oolong.
November 4th, 2009 at 12:23 pm
@Grimrod
Oolong was kicked out of shape-shifting school, so he can, even after years of practice, only stay transformed for 5 minutes, with a minute required between transformations. Since the people are in a “Gotta Catch ‘em All” mode, that’s not long enough for him to stay uncaptured forever.
November 4th, 2009 at 5:07 pm
Heyyy…. Wait a minute… Isn’t that Professor Oak?
November 4th, 2009 at 6:23 pm
and where is the piggy gaurd from Starwars anyway , porky should have been “the Cadet” XD
but thats just me , hehehe.
also for added effect MM should have definatly included ol’ baldy from DBZ , krellin i think his name was , since we have a few baldies in the frame .

Help!
P-P-Piglet
(Me)!
November 5th, 2009 at 12:48 pm
Actually while H1N1 encompasses all those types of flu, the current pandemic is NOT a combination and IS of swine origin so Swine Flu is pretty accurate!
November 5th, 2009 at 4:12 pm
@ Bill
I knew about him being kicked out, though thanks for reminding me. I thought five minutes would be enough, but I forgot about the “Gotta Catch ‘em All” mode.
They wouldn’t mistake Krillin for a pig though: he didn’t have a nose!
November 6th, 2009 at 3:18 am
Surprised you didn’t shove P-chan (AKA Ryoga’s pet name when he’s turned into a small black pig) from Ranma 1/2 in there.
November 6th, 2009 at 5:04 am
I thought swine flu wasn’t from pigs, but so named because the cells look like pig noses?
November 6th, 2009 at 12:39 pm
A Miyazaki reference! Isn’t this a first? There must be tons of Ghibli characters that would look great “Lil’ Formed”: Ponyo & Totoro to say the least!
November 7th, 2009 at 12:10 pm
wheres spider-pig from the simpsons movie?
November 7th, 2009 at 5:10 pm
WHOOHOOO!!!!! Spider-Ham! How I miss that comic…so cheesy it was awesome!
November 7th, 2009 at 5:35 pm
@ Grim Rod
They wouldn’t mistake Krillin for a pig though: he didn’t have a nose!
~~~~~~
thats because gohan ATE it
November 7th, 2009 at 5:36 pm
aint u ever heard of being NOM’D to death , well ole’ baldy escaped
and since he is basicly broke he cant afford a new nose
RoFL
November 8th, 2009 at 10:48 am
Ah, but their is a flaw in your logic! Krillin had no nose before Gohan was born. But that’s still quite a funny thought.
November 9th, 2009 at 9:43 am
You forgot Hoggish Greedly!
November 12th, 2009 at 7:54 am
hey u missed Kilowog (GL)… he does look like a pig! :p
November 26th, 2009 at 3:02 am
Aw, you forgot the pigmasks from mother 3.
December 6th, 2009 at 4:14 pm
Poor Piglet!
December 12th, 2009 at 2:48 pm
No one has mentioned about Ganon from the CD-I Zelda games yet? I’d say he has the most influence of swine flu than any other pig I can think of.
January 1st, 2010 at 4:53 am
is it just me, or is that proffesor Oak
January 26th, 2010 at 10:18 pm
PORCO ROSSO!
March 17th, 2010 at 12:11 pm
No Pig-Iron from “Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew?”
November 22nd, 2011 at 3:11 am
Nice post. I learn something on totally different blogs everyday. It would all the time be stimulating to read content material from other writers and practice a bit something from their blog.
