@ bObb33z3r: Dunno what you mean man, these are definitely great quality figures, I'm not sure where there's room for improvement really. And the figures are only $20, not $30. Pretty good for a line with such a small fan base.

plus the original line was mass produced and sold at $5 a pop. Even considering inflation that's $12, not $30

It's not the repaint that's the problem. It's the mass production quality figure being sold at the specialty market quality price. You're getting almost 90% reuse, some warping on certain figures, etc for $30 a figure. Some of the complaining is justified. Mattel knows they've got the He-fans over the falls in a barrel and will never come down in price. It's just too lucrative. Use the same bucks, the same plates, created in the same mass produced factories as DCUC, Barbie, etc, and sell the figures for 100% profit. Fish in a barrel my friend, the town's the fish, the people are the barrel... fish in a barrel! ;)

Who cares whether it's a repaint or not as long as the figure is awesome? (which ist true for evil-lyn)
As we know from Lil Formers #8, whinig is the right of all sentient beings, but some really overdo it. As Transfan I see it the other way round. If a mold is truly epic, I grab every repaint I can get and make some of my own.

Wow, how easy do they complain. I bought Universe Prowl, Silverstreak and Smokescreen and they are all just repaints of each other. Lol, Transfans only complain if a toy is repainted as the same character. GI Joe fans are EVEN more used to repaints and many GI Joe toys are completely made up from parts from other figures, in one instance, they made a Cobra Commander made from parts from the Indiana Jones toyline, and he was a hit with collectors,
