Botcon 2010 Report
A great time was had by all at Botcon this year! Some highlights:

- The Lil Formers booth. We sold many Lil Formers buttons… that was a good idea!

- Lil Formers/Plushformers cosplayer! Wow!
- I sat in on a podcast with the WTF@TFW gang. Check it out here.
- Activision’s War for Cybertron game was so good I went out and bought it… but man is it hard!
- Met lots of new transfans, and got to catch up with some who I have met before…good to see everybody!
I also did over 40 commission sketches over the weekend! Phew! A bit of everything - G1, Energon, Cybertron, Beast Wars, G2, Victory, IDW, Animated, and more. Though not one request for Optimus or Megatron (But I did sell a pre-made Optimus I drew as a warm up). Here are the ones we remembered to take pictures of:

Hey Matt,
Thanks for the KC Superman I got it home alright, and it looks great. Going to try and make sure it makes it for the move to Texas. You really made my Botcon experience. I hope I see you at a few other conventions in the near future. Tell your booth babe I said hello,
Liam

I don’t see that Sari picture you mentioned on WTF@TFW. Did you end up not drawing it or did you just not take a picture?

@Matt Moylan Oh yeah, I see it now. I dunno why I didn’t see it before. That’s a pretty creepy Sari.
@Cannonfodder4000 The link says FanChar, so I think it’s probably someone’s made up character.

I was just noticing that the coloring was pretty awesome on these. Did you use a tablet and then color in PS (or some illustrating program) and then print them?

Heh, I wonder how many people even recognized Stakeout.
(Due to him being so obscure, I mean. Your art is spot-on.)

Usually I do not read post on blogs, however I wish to say that this write-up very pressured me to take a look at and do so! Your writing taste has been surprised me. Thanks, quite nice article.

Hey, I just come across http://www.lilformers.com/index.php/2010/07/04/botcon-2010-report/comment-page-1/ through a link list on one of my favorite blogs. Your piece here is very educational and I have already bookmarked it on Digg to share with my pals.

Between me and my husband we have owned much more MP3 gamers more than the several years than I can depend, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & effect), the Ibiza Rhapsody, and so forth. But, the survive number of a long time I’ve settled along to one particular line of players. Why? Mainly because I used to be content to explore how well-made and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
